The first example I have for social currency would be "The Dab," dance move. not only does certain people can do it. It actually a pretty cool dance move that people do and has became an epidemic in the past months. It relates to being an insider, that people want to know how to do that dance move to make them feel cool.

Second example would be Fantasy Football that happens every year when football starts. Fantasy football in a way that it's a game, we want to achieve the best football team to win many things, such as money.

My last example of social currency in todays current world would be the one and only Rihanna. Her song "Work," is not only infectious, but it makes people want to dance and have fun just like she is, When releasing a hot video and dancing in that video, that makes people make choreography videos and parody's  to show your interpretation of what you are feeling when listening to that song. That shows characteristics of being an insider.
