In tattoos, mixed messages can be perceived in many ways. One of those ways would be why some people doesn't like it, rather than people that do like it. This misconception had been going on since the 1900's. People that don't like tattoos usually make a claim that people with tattoos are people that are of the lower class and "thuggish." While to some people tattoos are a piece of artwork. It's a part of who they are and can represent what their about.
Although you make a good point, the mixed message about tattoos is that people get them as ways of expressions, yet make great effort to have them placed in places that they can't be seen. People that get tattoos as ways of expressing themselves seems like something they'd do to show off right? Apparantly not...
ReplyDeleteHi Dayvion. I hope that in the future there will be less mixed messages about tattoos. It is unfortunate that people with tattoos are forced to cover up and judged to be bad. I have a tattoo would like to get more but unfortunately I am not willing to be treated differently because of it.
